We understand that finding a church can be an intimidating experience but it shouldn't be, so here are a few details to make your visit to First Ruston much smoother! Below is a highlight of what each service will look like. We have four service options to choose from. Also, take a look at frequent questions asked.
Every time you choose to walk through the doors at First Ruston you will enjoy great music (traditional or contemporary), an upbeat atmosphere, and teaching aimed at helping us deal with real-life issues. Come enjoy a laid-back atmosphere for an hour with a group of people. No pretense, real people learning together how to live the best possible life.
We have smaller group sessions for all ages called Connection Groups. These are divided into groups according to life stages. These groups cover a variety of topics throughout the year and are geared toward best meeting the need of your life stage.
We feel that our kid's program is one of our strong suits. Whether you have a baby or a 5th grader they are well-tended to in our Children's building during service. For more information on what all goes on during a service check out our information on our 1stkids page. You will need to create a login to check your kids in and out for service.
Many people arrive early to check their children into our 1stkids ministry or grab a coffee from 1stcup, but arrival time is ultimately up to you! Services begin at 8:30, 9:45 & 11 am!
There's no specific way to dress here. Be relaxed or dress it up; either way, you'll fit right in!
Church life is much more than just attending a weekly Worship Service. Here at First Ruston, we offer a variety of ways for you to get connected with our church family.
Midweek activities are from 5:30-7:00 pm. There are many options to choose from. More information
C3 is every Wednesday at 6-7 pm with a time of hangout for middle schoolers before and high schoolers afterward. More Information
Awaken Service will be in the worship center @ 8:00 pm. During the summer there is a bible study in The Depot. More Information.
Midweek activities include Bible studies within our groups and training within our areas of service. More information
